# 20. Incoming calls have popup but no ringtone

This issue typically occurs when the browser tab has just been reloaded and the user has not interacted with the tab yet.

**Cause**: This is a mechanism of modern browsers aimed at improving the user experience, preventing unwanted websites from automatically playing audio while users are engaged in other listening experiences.

Users can change the settings to add StringeeX to the allowlist for automatic audio playback:

* **Step 1**: Access the sound settings page via the links below:
